The Hangout in Castro Valley, California provides flexible, trauma-informed outpatient care for adolescents and adults seeking support for substance use and mental health challenges. This center is designed for individuals who need structured treatment while continuing to live at home, attend school, or maintain work and family responsibilities.
Services at The Hangout include in-person outpatient treatment for adolescents ages 13–17, as well as soon we will have adult telehealth services that allow clients to access care from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Treatment is personalized, evidence-based, and rooted in compassion, safety, and long-term recovery planning.
With a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental health education, The Baker Center supports individuals and families in building stability, resilience, and sustainable recovery within their daily lives.
